The 4th and five play in the 3rd quarter. . .

I am still baffled by this play and wanted to wait a couple of days before I wrote about it. The Jets got the ball to start the 2nd half and were moving fairly well. Then came 4th and five and I thought to myself, well let's punt and pin them within their own 20 and play the field positioning game. The Jets lined up for the punt by Mark Sanchez stayed in. . .DUH!!! Of course the Bears knew he was going to get the ball and throw it. How many times is he in on punts?? Never! Devin Hester immediately recoginized it and tipped off his teammates who were ready when the ball was snapped. Sanchez actually made a perfect throw by Rashied Davis was all over Brad Smith who could not bring in the pass. I'm not sure what the thought process was, the only explanation we can get from  Ryan, Sanchez, Westhoff, or Smith was that they practiced it during the week. WOW awesome, so that means you have to do it?? It was horrible call by Ryan, who is making bad decisions on a weekly basis. That left the Bears well inside Jets territory and don't you know they score on the very next play, and the momentum was shifted from that point forward. So that begs the question. . .
